Major IAS reshuffle in Uttarakhand

On the government’s instructions, the government has made a major reshuffle in the charge of IAS and PCS officers. Under this, the District Magistrates of Dehradun, Haridwar, Tehri, Nainital and Champawat have been changed. Responsibility for Dehradun is entrusted to I.A.S. C. Ravishankar, Dipendra Choudhary (Haridwar), V Shanmugam (Tehri); Nainital’s responsibility; Savin Bansal (Nainital) and Surendra Pandey (Champawat).

In addition to this, the government has changed the rank of 25 IAS, nine PCs and three officials of Secretariat Service. Among them, additional secretary Dr. Mehrban Singh Bisht who is included in the new charge of Director General Information.

Since the Lok Sabha elections in the state, there was full potential to change the post of officers. The government has stamped this on Thursday. District Magistrate Dehradun S. A. Murugesan has now been entrusted with the charge of Project Director of Disaster Management, Director Audit and External Assisted Projects.

District Magistrate Nainital Vinod Kumar Suman has been given the responsibility of Additional Secretary Urban Development, Secretariat Administration and Director Urban Development.

District Magistrate Tehri Sonika has been entrusted with the responsibility of Managing Director SIIDCUL and Additional Secretary Tourism, Culture, Civil Aviation and Additional Chief Executive Officer UKDA.

District Magistrate Champawat Ranvir Singh has been given the responsibility of Commissioner Excise and Additional Secretary Transport and Managing Director Uttarakhand Transport Corporation.
