Web Media Association meeting convened in Lucknow
The meeting of Uttar Pradesh unit of the National Web Media Association was held in Lucknow; The meeting was chaired by Dr. Chandrasen Verma National Convenor, the operation was conducted by National General Secretary Dr. Mohd. Kamran, Web Media Association. National President Chandrashekhar Joshi greeted the newly formed Executive Council of Uttar Pradesh while expressing his happiness at the meeting being held in Lucknow by a video calling message from Dehradun. Chandrashekhar Joshi said in his message that due to constant efforts by us since 2005, in Uttarakhand ” Web Media Rules “came into existence, officials of Uttarakhand Information Department commended the work for this Now, the Web Media Association is making efforts in states and in PIB to give press accredation to web media journalists as well.
On the other hand, National General Secretary Dr. Kamran said in Lucknow that the web media association in UP will demand a higher level of ‘web policy’ in Uttar Pradesh soon to be implemented.
In a meeting organized in Lucknow, it was said by the speakers that the impact of web media and the increase in the number of web news portal across the country along with the UP is increasing rapidly, which will bring millions of people every moment of the news through mobiles and computers. The web policy in the state of Uttar Pradesh- 2016 which has been completely inactive. By effectively negotiating the policy, it can be effectively implemented. An important meeting was organized yesterday on this effect.
In the meeting of the Web Media Association (WMA) Uttar Pradesh unit in Lucknow, there was also a comprehensive discussion on the web news portal, which is being run by the serious journalists in UP, with the full cooperation of the Association.
In the meeting, it was decided that connecting new members from the Web Media Association will be launched soon across the state.
Chief Secretary of WMA Chandrasen Verma, National General Secretary, Mohd. Kamaran, Indresh Rastogi, National Vice President J.P Shulka, President of WMA (U.P.) Rajendra Gautam, Vice President Shashwat Tiwari, Shridhar Agnihotri, Amitabh Trivedi, Kazim Zaheer, treasurer Sonika Shrivastav and executive member Yogesh Shrivastava were also present.
