303 kg fake gold recovered from swimming pool of fraudster

Manjur Khan, the kingpin of a Ponzi scam, who had cheated crores of rupees from thousands of people, filled the swimming pool with fake gold. The investigation team recovered 303 kg gold in the form of 5,880 fake gold biscuits. On seeing this, the officers were also shocked. Officers are now trying to find out what was used or was going to happen in such a huge quantity of fake gold biscuits? This case is from Bengaluru in Karnataka.

The SIT has recovered 303 kg of fake gold biscuits from the house of IMA founder Mansoor Khan, who had cheated crores of rupees from 30 thousand people in Bengaluru.

This gold was seized from the swimming pool. A person named Wasim has been detained in this case.

Mansoor Khan, the prime accused in the multi-crore Ponzi scam and founder of IMA Jewelers, was arrested by the Delhi Police at New Delhi Airport after arriving from Dubai. The SIT had issued a lookout notice through the Union Home Ministry, informing all concerned, including Interpol, about Mansoor Khan.

Mansoor Khan is accused of cheating 30 thousand people. He was absconding for more than a month.

On Wednesday, the SIT seized 5,880 counterfeit gold biscuits from his house in Bangalore. So far 25 people have been arrested in connection with this scam.
