Amit Shah moves resolution to scrap Article 370; Ladakh to become UT

The Narendra Modi government has introduced Jammu and Kashmir’s restructuring bill. Under this, Ladakh has been separated from Jammu and Kashmir. Ladakh has been given the status of a union territory without assembly. A statement issued by Amit Shah said that the people of Ladakh have long been demanding that Ladakh should be registered with the Union Territory, so that people living here can achieve their goals. According to the report, Jammu and Kashmir has been given a separate Union Territory status. There will be Assembly in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday offered a historic change for Jammu and Kashmir. He recommended removal of Section 370 here. This change has been approved by the President. On this reply of the Home Minister, there was a lot of uproar in the Rajya Sabha. Not all clauses of Article 370 shall apply after the approval of the President. There will be only one section in it. He introduced the Bill for Reorganization of Jammu and Kashmir. Jammu and Kashmir was given the status of a union territory. Ladakh will also become a union territory.

Marshall Order in Rajya Sabha

PDP MPs protested against this bill and and started tearing the constitution. Opposition party MPs have sat on the floor in the Rajya Sabha. The Speaker of the Rajya Sabha has given orders to call the Marshall in the House.
