Apple offering $1 million to anyone who can hack iPhone

iPhone maker Apple has brought an opportunity to earn US $ 1 million (about 7 crores) for cyber security researchers. On behalf of the company, the statement was issued saying that if any hackers hack the iPhone or catch its flaws, the company will give Rs 7 crore as a reward. In fact, for the last few days, there is a news that the US government is monitoring the phone of all people, including journalists and human rights activists. Some say that they are being spied on. Earlier too, Apple had announced rewards for researchers. The company said that if someone finds a flaw in the iPhone or if they reveal any technical weakness in cloud backup, then they will get reward.

At the ‘Black Hat Security Conference’ held in Las Vegas, a statement from Apple was issued saying that if someone exposes any technical fault in iPhone or Mac software, they will be rewarded. Talking about the latest announcement, if any hackers or researchers hack the iPhone and access it remotely then they will get a reward of 7 crores (US $ 1 million).

There are many companies around the world who do hacking work for the government of different countries. Israel’s NSO group is said to be doing espionage for the US government. There have been many such incidents in America in which there was a long battle between Apple and the government over unlocking the criminal’s phone and accessing their data and the matter reached the court.
