A Twitter user shared a copy of the bill in which he was charged Rs 1,700 for two boiled eggs at the high-end four seasons hotel in Mumbai.

Following actor Rahul Bose’s banana controversy, following which the JW Marriott hotel was fined Rs 25,000 by the Excise and Taxation Department of Chandigarh, Twitter user Karthik Dhar posted the hotel bill with the caption – “@FourSeasons 2 eggs for Rs 1700 in Mumbai.

According to news agency IANS, user Karthik Dhar tagged Rahul Bose while sharing the hotel bill on Twitter. Karthik wrote – Brother should we start a movement?

It is surprising that in the same bill, Rs 1700 was also charged for two omelets. \Karthik is the author of “All The Queen’s Men”. However, so far there has been no statement from the hotel on this dispute.

One user posted – Was gold also served with this egg? At the same time, another user wrote on Karthik Dhar’s tweet – The hen will probably be of very rich household.
