BCCI releases schedule of Vijay Hazare Trophy 2019; Dehradun to host 45 matches

The Vijay Hazare Trophy will begin on September 24. Under this, 45 matches of the league round will be played in Dehradun. There is confusion over the knock out. At the same time, Uttarakhand will face Chandigarh on 25 September. BCCI has released the schedule of Vijay Hazare Trophy 2019. The BCCI has selected four cities for the league matches of the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Elite A group matches will be played in Bengaluru, Elite B group matches Vadodara, Elite C group matches will be played in Jaipur. At the same time, Plate Group matches will be in Dehradun. A total of 45 matches will be played between 10 teams in Dehradun.

The matches will start simultaneously on three grounds on 24 September and the last 3 matches of the league round will be played on 16 October. The situation at the venue for the knock-out has yet to be clarified, despite the clear picture on the city of the league round matches. In fact, in the past, the BCCI also gave the responsibility of knock out matches of Vijay Hazare Trophy to Uttarakhand. But after the recognition of the Cricket Association of Uttarakhand, there is confusion over the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final matches. Sources say that the BCCI wants to hold knock out matches in Bangalore, while CAU has also sent a knockout fixer.
