249 corona cases found in Uttarakhand on January 7
249 new corona patients were found in the state and six infected people died. With this, the total number of patients in the state has increased to 92842. While the death toll has reached 1555. According to the Health Bulletin released by the Health Department on Thursday, 13 in Almora, 2 in Bageshwar, 7 in Chamoli, 2 in Champawat, 90 in Dehradun, 28 in Haridwar, 53 in Nainital, 15 in Pauri, 13 in Pithoragarh, 2 in Rudraprayag, 19 in US Nagar, while five people in Uttarkashi district were found positive for corona virus infection.
On Thursday, two people died at AIIMS Rishikesh, one at Himalayan Hospital, one at Mahant Indresh, one at Pithoragarh District Hospital while one infected at Haldwani Medical College. 439 patients were discharged from various hospitals in the state. With this, the total number of patients cured has been 86737. While 3309 patients are being treated in various hospitals. On Thursday, around 11 thousand samples were sent for investigation. Report of 10 thousand came while report of more than 12 thousand samples is yet to come. The rate of corona infection in the state is 4.97 percent while the rate of recovery is 93.42 percent.
