Mandakini autumn fest begins in Champawat

The Mandakini Autumn Festival and the Agricultural Industrial Development Fair began on Wednesday with cultural programs. On the first day of the fair, students from different schools gave presentations of the programs. Local products and handicraft are also exhibited in the fair.

The fair organized at Krida Maidan was inaugurated by Kedarnath MLA Manoj Rawat. He said that fairs are the drivers of our culture. By promoting them, where talent gets a big platform, local products also get a market. Fair convenor Vikram Singh Negi, general secretary Harshvardhan Benzwal and senior vice-president Prithvi Pal Singh Rawat said that this fair has been touching its heights in 18 years, but due to the apathy of the government, the fair is not getting the desired momentum. On the first day of the fair, students of schools like Gurukul Public School, GIC, GGIC, Children’s Academy, Gauri Memorial Public School etc. gave presented songs and other cultural programs.
