Many injured in London knife attack

Several people were injured in a knife attack incident near Britain’s famous London Bridge on Friday. Police consider it a terrorist attack. The police claimed to have killed the attacker. The London Bridge has been closed. The bridge has been cordoned off and a large number of police personnel have been deployed. Emergency services have also been restored.

One person in custody

Scotland Yard said that “we had just started an investigation into the incident on London Bridge”. They told that one person has been detained and many people have been injured in this.

Chaos on London Bridge

Scotland Yard said in a statement that if you are around the scene, follow the instructions of the officers present there. The London Ambulance Service called it a major incident. In the video released on social media, people can be seen running from here to there in chaos. Transport services in the area have stopped and offices have been closed. London Bridge is one of the areas where 11 people were killed in a June 2017 IS attack. In 2017, IS terrorists on London Bridge rammed the passengers on foot at high speed. Earlier on May 22, 2017, there was a suicide attack in Manchester. The attack at Manchester Arena killed 22 people, including seven children.

In this regard, the London Police say that at this stage the circumstances related to the incident on London bridge are unclear. However, as a precaution, “we are currently responding to the incident as if it is related to terror. One person has been shot by the police.”
