3 women die in Chandigarh PG house fire

Three women died in a house fire in Chandigarh on Saturday. Superintendent of Police Vineet Kumar said that all the girls were aged 19-22 years. They were living as a paying guest on the first floor of the building in Sector 32.

A fire broke out in Sector 32-D house number 3325 of Chandigarh this afternoon. The girls, who were badly injured in the fire, were rushed to the hospital in critical condition, where they died.

A girl jumped from the first floor to save her life after the fire. The injured girl is undergoing treatment in the hospital. As soon as the fire was reported, five vehicles of the fire department reached the spot and took action to extinguish the fire.

PG was opened on the first floor, there were a large number of girls. Most of the girls were not in PG when the fire broke out. The fire took such a severe form that the first floor of the PG was completely burnt to ashes. Five fire brigade vehicles arrived at the information, after a hard struggle, the fire was controlled after about two hours.
