3 new corona cases reported in Uttarakhand today
2 cases positive in Dehradun district and 1 case in Nainital District
Three corona infected cases have been reported in Uttarakhand today i.e 17 April. A one-year-old child of a family living in a quarantine center located between Vikasnagar and Selakui in Dehradun district has been found positive. The child is being brought to the Government Doon Medical Hospital for treatment. Dr. NS Khatri, Deputy MS and Corona State Coordinator of Doon Hospital told that the child’s father was also Corona positive who is still hospitalized.
At the same time, a female doctor of an army in Dehradun has also been reported to be found corona positive. It is being told that the lady doctor had returned to Dehradun from Lucknow few days ago. On the other hand, in Ramnagar, a Jamaat attendee has also been found infected. With this, now the number of infected patients has increased to 40 in the state.
Nine out of 40 patients have been discharged from the hospital after treatment. Till date 40 infected cases have been reported in Uttarakhand from Dehradun, Udham Singh Nagar, Haridwar, Nainital, Pauri, Almora districts. No positive cases have been reported so far in Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Tehri, Uttarkashi, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, Champawat districts.

Dehradun district has been declared as red zone due to the highest number of cases of corona infection, while seven districts have been kept in green zone due to non-positive cases.
