Bernie Sanders pulls out of US President contention 2020

American Senator Bernie Sanders distanced himself from the US presidential race. Now Joe Biden will be the presidential candidate from the Democratic Party. The presidential election in America is to be held in November this year. Now, Joe Biden from the Democratic Party,  will challenge the Republican hope and current President Donald Trump.

Sanders has withdrawn his candidature, after which the path is almost cleared for former Vice President Joe Biden. He issued a video message announcing it today and also thanked his supporters.

Announcing his withdrawal from the candidacy, Bernie tweeted, ‘Today I am suspending my campaign. But while the campaign ends, the struggle for justice continues on.’ He further said, ‘I thank everyone for supporting me in a great grassroots election campaign which has had a huge impact towards changing our country.’

Joe Biden has moved ahead after Sanders withdrew as a strong contender in the Democratic primary election. After the announcement of Sanders, Biden will now face Trump in the upcoming presidential election in November.
