Over 70 families home quarantined after Pizza delivery boy tests positive for coronavirus
Coronavirus cases are increasing rapidly in India. Meanwhile, a case has emerged from the country’s capital, Delhi, where a pizza delivery boy has turned out to be Corona positive. It was reported that he came in contact with 72 families and 17 other delivery boys.
This matter is of Malviya Nagar of Delhi. A delivery boy of a pizza company had symptoms of corona for 20 days and went to some hospitals. It is being told that he must have been infected during this time. After this, during these 20 days, he supplied pizza in 72 houses.
The delivery boy was on duty till the last week of March and his corona test result came back positive only last week. Officials said that he first went to a hospital for dialysis and it is believed that he may have been infected during this time.
After this case came to light, people from all those 72 houses have been quarantined home. Delhi Health Minister Satinder Jain said that the company got the delivery boy to work despite the symptoms. This is a matter of negligence. Jain also said that we will take action against the company.
DM of South Delhi district BN Mishra said that 72 families had come in contact with the delivery boy. Although these people have not been tested yet, all have been quarantined home. If symptoms of corona are found in these people then they will be investigated. Authorities have kept the identity of all these 72 families secret.
The DM also said that the infected boy told that he went to deliver only after applying mask and cleaned hands with sanitizer at the gate of all societies or colonies. At present, no symptoms of cold, cold or flu have been found in 72 homes.
Apart from this, 17 other delivery buoys have also been quarantined. Because all these 17 have come in contact with the same boy who has been found to be corona positive. On the other hand, the delivery boy found corona positive has been sent for treatment. All other delivery boys and staff of that outlet are under clinical investigation. All are taking precautionary measures.
