Schools re-open in Demark, social distancing norms followed

The lockdown continues to prevent coronavirus infection in Denmark but has been eased slightly since Wednesday. Under this relaxation, classes have been allowed to start in schools up to fifth class. It is the first country in Europe to decide to start a school. Some strict rules have also been made. It is mandatory to follow them.

However, parents are not happy with the government’s decision. They say that the government is experimenting on our children. Parents have formed a group on Facebook against the decision, the name of one such group is ‘Our children aren’t guinea pigs’.

Parents will come to pick up the children at a gap of a few minutes so that the crowd does not gather. The inside of the school is painted at a difference of two meters. Children have to go to class keeping this distance in mind.

Children have to go to wash their hands while studying. One minute handwash is required. Children must keep a distance of two meters at the time of studies and games. They will not be able to form large groups in school.

Special sports activities have been started in schools in Copenhagen and Randers, with the corona threat in mind.  Some schools have also planned to hold outdoor classes so that the children remain physically active.
