TRP ratings: Ramayan tops the list; Doordarshan number 1 channel
TV serial Ramayana enjoys the top spot in the 14th weekly TRP ratings released by BARC. The show remains at number one. At the same time, Doordarshan is holding the rank of number one channel for the second consecutive time.
Top shows of the 14th week
Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayana is on the first number. Ramayana is seen most amidst the lockdown. This show is telecast twice a day. Ramayana is getting tremendous viewership.
BR Chopra’s Mahabharata is at number two. After Ramayana, if a show is liked by the audience the most, then it is Mahabharata. Apart from DD Bharati, it is also being telecasted on DD Retro.
Dangal channel’s show Pyaar Ki Luka Chuppi at number three. Rahul Sharma and Aparna Dixit are in the lead role in the serial. This show, based on the love story of both, is being liked a lot.
The fourth position is Dangal’s show Mahima Shani Dev. Daya Shankar Pandey plays Shani Dev in the show. A repeat of this show is being telecast on Dangal. Even after years, this show is winning the hearts of the audience.
The figures of the top 4 shows given above are under Hindi GEC category. But if we look at the Hindi GEC Rural and Urban, then also Ramayana emerges at the top in these categories.
Shaktimaan ranks fourth in the Hindi GEC Urban. This show also remains the favorite of the audience between Ramayana and Mahabharata. On the other hand, the number 1 channel is Doordarshan with Dangal on the second spot.
