Brazil becomes new hotspot of Covid-19

A total of 3,30,890 cases of Covid-19 infection have been reported in Brazil. The Ministry of Health gave this information. There are more cases of infections here than Russia, which according to Johns Hopkins University is the second country with the highest number of infections in the world.

In Brazil, 1,001 infected patients died in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of deaths from Covid-19 to 21,000. Outbreak of infection is very high in this Latin American country.

Meanwhile, there is a debate here whether to give relaxations in the lockdown imposed or strict restrictions should be imposed to prevent the spread of corona virus. The Mayor of Rio de Janeiro said that he would like the shops of non-essential goods to be gradually opened in the next few days.

According to the Ministry of Health, there were a record 1,001 deaths due to the Corona virus in Brazil on Friday. After which the total figure of death reached 21,048. The World Health Organization (WHO) has called South America the new epicenter of the global pandemic. WHO emergency director Mike Ryan said, “There is concern in many countries about Corona, but Brazil is the most affected at this time.”

Death toll (death rate) of Brazil is sixth in the world after USA, UK, Italy, Spain and France. But the corona crisis in Brazil is not expected to be at the peak by June. According to the Health Ministry, the number of corona infections in the US has so far reached 1.63 million, the death toll has risen to 96,329. It is a matter of relief that 3 lakh 13 thousand people have also recovered from Corona.
