Domestic flights to resume operations from May 25

Domestic flights will start across the country from May 25. Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Puri tweeted and informed about this. National and international flights are banned due to the lockdown. Recently, the government resumed rail service and now domestic flights will also start from May 25, ie Monday. Hardeep Puri said that domestic flights will start from Monday 25 May 2020. All airports and airline companies should be ready to start flights from 25 May. SOP is also being issued for passengers.

Earlier, Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri had said in a tweet on Tuesday that the responsibility of starting the air service is with the Center as well as the states. They too have to be ready for this.

The flights have been banned since the March 25 lockdown in the country. The fourth phase of lockdown will be till 31 May. Gradually most restrictions are being removed by the government. Railways has decided to run 200 non-AC trains on Tuesday. These trains will run daily from June 1 as per the time table.
