Uttarakhand Corona update 18 May: Total tally reaches 93
Another corona-positive case has surfaced in the capital Dehradun on Monday. After this, now the total number of infected patients in the state stands at 93. Out of 93 patients, 52 people have recovered and been discharged from the hospitals.
In Uttarakhand’s capital Dehradun a woman has been confirmed to be suffering from a corona infection.
After this, now the number of corona infected in the state has increased from 92 to 93. According to sources, the victim woman has returned from Maharashtra with her husband recently.
The family originally from Uttarkashi, was living in Vasant Vihar area of Dehradun. An infected case was reported in Rishikesh on Sunday in the capital. He too had returned from Maharashtra. The health department workload has been increased as the influx of migrants continues in the state.
A total of 575 samples were sent from state hospitals on Sunday for examination. Which is a record till date. Additional Secretary informed that a total of 13212 samples have been investigated in the state so far.
