Corona cases in Uttarakhand go past 1000
Uttarakhand on 02 June recored its 1000th corona positive case. In the health bulletin published at 8 P.M, 44 more positive cases were found taking the state tally to 1043 cases.
Uttarakhand 19th state with over 1000 cases
Uttarakhand, which falls under the category of small states, has entered the league of of big states in case of corona infection. The state has become the 19th most infected state with 1043 cases of corona patients, outpacing all the smaller states of the country.
Neighboring Himachal has close to 350 Corona positives despite a few days of rise in cases during Lockdown-4. In contrast, Uttarakhand has reported over a thousand patients.
Kerala’s above Uttarakhand
Kerala was among the earliest states in the country to suffer an attack of corona infection. At one time, cases were continuously increasing in Kerala. But the corona infection in Kerala has been controlled in a very good way.
In the list of corona infected territories,Kerala (18th) is placed above Uttarakhand. Where so far 1326 Corona positives have been found. Out of which 590 have been cured while 10 people have died.
Majority patients in Uttarakhand asymptomatic
Nearly 42 percent of the corona patients reported so far in the state are asymptomatic. No symptoms of corona emerged, but they were found to be infected during investigation. The huge spike in corona cases increased in the state after the return of migrants from other states. Till date 252 patients have recovered in the state. There are 38 hotspots in the state with district Nainital being in the Red Zone.
