DU issues Admit Cards for Open Book Exams for PG courses

University of Delhi has issued the admit card for its online open book examination for post graduation courses.

Students who are appearing in the exam can download from DU’s official website du.ac.in.

University of Delhi (DU) said that the final semester / term / year examination for all undergraduate (UG) and post graduation (PG) students will be conducted from July 1, 2020.

As per DU’s notice, the examination will be conducted for all students including students registered with School of Open Learning (SOL) and Non-Collegiate Woman Education Board (NCWEB). All the examinations will be conducted in three sessions including Sunday, in which time will be given for two hours.

When will be the exam

In the midst of the Coronavirus crisis, DU had released a possible datesheet of the Open Book Examination on 30 May. According to the datasheet uploaded on the official website, students have to take examinations from July 1 to July 11 under the Choice Based Credit System.

For the final semester, examinations for Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics and others will be held from July 1. While the examinations for English, Hindi, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology and BA Hons will start from July 2.

Delhi University had already said that it will not conduct exams for first and second year students. But the final year examination will be conducted.

Talking of first and second year regular students, they will be evaluated on the basis of 50 per cent of assignments given for this year’s semester and 50 per cent will be based on the marks obtained in the previous semester. On the other hand, first and second year students of SOL and first and second year students of NCWEB will be evaluated on the basis of the assignments given to them.
