India sees highest spike of over 15000 Corona cases in 1 day

The total number of infected people increased to 4,10,461 in India, out of which 306 more people died and a record 15,413 new cases reported in a span of 24 hours.

The number of new cases is rising every day in India since last four days. According to the latest data till 8 am on Sunday, 2,27,755 patients infected in the country have become healthy so far, while 1,69,451 people are undergoing treatment. A patient has gone abroad.

“About 55.48 percent of the patients have recovered so far,” said an official. Foreign citizens are also involved in total cases of infection. In India, more than 10,000 cases of infection have been reported daily since last 10 days.

There have been 2,19,926 cases of infection in the country from June 1 to June 21. The five states that have seen the fastest increase in infection cases include Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh.

Three CRPF jawans infected in Chhattisgarh

Corona infection was found in 3 personnels of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) deployed in Sukma. Along with this, four soldiers of the 45th Battalion of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) deployed in Narayanpur have also been infected with Corona. State Health Department gave its information.

Government nod to Favipiravir

The pharmaceutical company Glenmark Pharmaceuticals has introduced the antiviral drug Favipiravir under the brand name Fabiflu for the treatment of patients suffering from Covid-19. It will cost Rs 103 per tablet. Giving this information, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals said on Saturday that the drug will be available in 200 mg tablets. Its 34 tablet strip will cost Rs 3,500.

The company said that Fabiflu is a favipiravir drug for the treatment of Covid-19, which has been approved. This medicine will be available at the price of Rs 103 per tablet on the advice of a doctor.

When asked about the manufacturing capacity of this drug, the company said that it would be able to provide Fabiflu to 82,500 patients in the first month, according to the requirement of minimum two strips per patient. “We are watching the situation and according to the situation the company will increase production according to the healthcare sector of the country.”
