Uttarakhand Corona Update: 32 new cases reported on 28 June
Within the last 24 hours, 32 new corona infected patients have been reported in Uttarakhand. With this, now the number of infected patients has crossed 2800 in the state. As per the daily health bulletin released at 7 P.M today, there are 2823 positive cases detected in the state till date. Out of these 2018 have recovered while 38 corona infected patients have lost their lives. The total active cases in the state stands at 749.
According to the Health Bulletin issued by the Health Department, 14 cases have been reported in Nainital, two in Chamoli, one in Champawat, 10 in Dehradun (one containing sample of private lab), one in Rudraprayag, four in Tehri. With this, the number of patients has now reached 2823.
2344 vehicles seized in lockdown
Police took action on those found breaking rules during lockdown. 2344 vehicles were seized, with 17190 vehicles being fined over a period of three months. A fine of around 68 lakh 57 thousand was charged from those who ignored traffic rules. Action was taken to seize the vehicles of the drivers who did not provide papers on the spot.
