Uttarakhand corona update: 3295 cases found on 17 January

The sequence of increase in new cases of corona infection in Uttarakhand continues. The increasing cases of death are also a cause for concern. It is a slight relief that there has been some reduction in the infection rate compared to the previous days. On Monday, 3295 new cases of corona were found in the state and four patients died. Meanwhile, 2067 patients have also become healthy, while the infection rate was 8.42 percent.

According to the information received from the Health Department, in the last 24 hours, test reports of 39,138 samples were received from various labs. Of these, the report of 35,843 samples came negative. Maximum 987 people have been found corona infected in Dehradun. Apart from this, 568 in Udham Singh Nagar, 546 in Nainital, 352 in Haridwar, 289 in Pauri, 137 in Chamoli, 111 in Almora, 65 in Tehri, 60 in Pithoragarh, 53 in Rudraprayag, 45 in Champawat, 43 in Uttarkashi and 39 in Bageshwar. The test report of the individuals has come positive. One patient each died in AIIMS Rishikesh, Himalayan Hospital Jolly Grant, Shrimahant Indiresh Hospital and Haldwani Medical College. Here, 33,276 samples have been sent from different districts for corona investigation.

So far 3,73,249 cases of corona have been reported in the state. Out of these, 3,39,932 (91.07 percent) people have defeated Corona. The number of active cases of corona has reached 18,196. Dehradun has the highest number of 7730 active cases. There are 2629 active cases in Nainital, 2534 in Haridwar and 1943 in Udham Singh Nagar. So far 7444 patients have died in the state due to corona infection.

Active cases in Uttarakhand cross 18 thousand

In Uttarakhand, the active cases of corona have reached more than 18 thousand i.e. 18196. Dehradun has the highest number of 7730 active cases. Apart from this, there are 2629 active cases in Nainital, 2534 in Haridwar and 1943 in Udham Singh Nagar.
