3 earthquakes rattle different parts of India in 24 hours

The tremors of the Earthquake were felt in the North Eastern state of Mizoram on Sunday evening. The intensity of this earthquake was measured 4.6 on the Richter scale. The earthquake was 25 kilometers southwest of Champhai. Shortly before the earthquake in Mizoram, a 4.2 magnitude earthquake struck in Kutch, Gujarat. The epicenter of this earthquake was near Bhachau. At the same time, a shock of 4.7 magnitude earthquake was felt in Kargil in the early hours. In Mizoram many times people have felt the tremors of earthquake. Earlier, an earthquake of magnitude 4.6 also occurred in Champhai district of Mizoram on Friday afternoon. This was the sixth earthquake in the state in the last 15 days. Officials gave this information.

According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake occurred around 2.35 pm. Its center was 52 km south-southeast of Champhai. Its depth was 25 km. Champhai Deputy Commissioner Maria CT Juali said that the damage from the earthquake has not yet been assessed. Because information from some interior villages had not reached headquarters. He said that the district administration is collecting information from the affected villages. He also visited the affected villages on Saturday along with other officials.

It is noteworthy that a series of earthquakes occurred in Champhai, Saitual and Serchhip districts of the state between 18 and 24 June.

There was also an earthquake tremor in Delhi-NCR

In Delhi NCR, tremors of earthquake of similar magnitude were felt on Friday. A moderate level earthquake was felt in North India including Delhi and the National Capital Region on Friday evening with a magnitude of 4.7. The epicenter of the earthquake was in Alwar district of Rajasthan.

According to the National Seismology Center (NCS), the quake was felt at seven in the evening, which was centered at a depth of 35 km. Earthquake tremors were also felt in Delhi and National Capital Region (NCR) which caused panic among the people.

For the last about three months, earthquakes of moderate or low intensity have been occurring in different parts of the country. Till now these earthquakes have occurred in many states like Delhi-NCR, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Jammu Kashmir, Mizoram, Odisha, Chhattisgarh etc. due to which there is a lot of panic in the minds of people. However, fortunately no loss of life has been reported due to the earthquake. The frequency of these earthquakes coming so soon has also surprised the scientists.
