AB de Villiers picks his all time IPL-XI
The history of IPL itself has been quite spectacular and all the legendary cricketers of the world have been part of this league. One of these names is South African superstar batsman AB de Villiers. AB is currently associated with Royal Challengers Bangalore which is the team captained by Virat. Now AB has selected the all-time IPL XI in which he has given the captaincy reigns to former India skipper MS Dhoni.
AB de Villiers himself is a brilliant batsman and he has also included himself in this team. AB has included Virender Sehwag and Rohit Sharma in his team as an opener. For the third number, he has placed Virat Kohli in the team who is also the captain of his team RCB. AB has kept himself to bat fourth in the team. He also bats at fourth position for Bangalore. At number five, he has included all-rounder Ben Stokes.
AB has made MS Dhoni the captain and wicketkeeper of the team and placed him at number six. As the second all-rounder in the team, he has placed Ravindra Jadeja who also offers spin option while Rashid Khan is in his team as a pure spinner. Talking about fast bowlers, he has shown trust in Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Kagiso Rabada and Jaspreet Bumrah for this. He has not included mercurial batsman and former team mate Chris Gayle in his team as an opener in the team.
