Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 865 plus chipset capable of 3 GHz speed
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 Plus processor has been used in many recently launched flagship smartphones. Now the company has introduced the new chipset Snapdragon 865 Plus. Snapdragon 865 Plus is the fastest processor of Android device ever with a maximum speed of 3 GHz. This processor will also have 5G support like Snapdragon 855 Plus.
The Snapdragon 865 Plus will get the Adreno 650 GPU for graphics, while its CPU speeds range from 2.84GHz to 3.1GHz, the highest speed ever. The company claims that the speed of Adreno 659 GPU is 10 percent higher than before, although the company has not shared the information about its actual speed.
Snapdragon 865 Plus will get wireless connectivity through FastConnect 6900. With this, you are getting a big upgrade with Wi-Fi. Snapdragon 865 Plus will get Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. It will have a refresh rate of 144Hz and support for 8K video recording. Also, Quick Charge 4 Plus has also been supported.
With the launch of Snapdragon 865 Plus, Asus and Lenovo have said that they will be the first companies to use this processor in their devices first. Snapdragon 865 processor could be found in Asus ROG Phone 3 and Lenovo’s Legion Gaming phone.
