UG and PG students in Rajasthan university to be promoted without exams
After the Corona crisis in Rajasthan, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has taken a big decision. During a meeting with the Higher Education Department, the CM decided that the examinations for graduation and PG will be canceled this year. All undergraduate and postgraduate students will be promoted to the next classes without examination. It is worth noting that examinations of other universities including Rajasthan University were proposed in the state from July 15, but now all the examinations have been canceled after this decision of CM.
Students to be promoted as per guidelines of HRD Ministry
During the high-level meeting held at the CM’s residence, it was decided that the examinations would not be conducted in view of the corona epidemic. The marks of the students who will be promoted in the next classes will be determined based on the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. Guidelines in this regard will be issued by the ministry in the next few days.
Board results will be declared soon
Earlier there was news that the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education may release its first result in the second week of July. The examination of the pending subjects of the board ended on June 30, after which the exercise to release the results has now started. The chairman of the board, Dr. DP Jaroli, has already said that the board will release its first result before July 15.
In view of the Coronavirus crisis, the board has made changes in its evaluation system this time. This time, the board has given 300 test sheets to every examiner instead of 450 to check. Along with evaluating these answer sheets, instructions were given to upload scores in 10 days on board’s website. Sources reveal that the board has got scores of 12th science and commerce subjects and now they are being used to draw results centrally. It has been the tradition of the board for the last few years that it releases the result of 12th science and commerce together. And this time also it is possible to continue the same.
