Shahid Kapoor to return to Uttarakhand for shooting of new film

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor will once again be seen in the beautiful landscape of Uttarakhand. After a long wait of about five months, the shooting of the big banner film ‘Jersey’ is going to start in Dehradun. It is a remake of the Telugu film Jersey, which stars Shahid Kapoor in the lead. The shooting of the film will begin on September 30.

Uttarakhand is becoming a top choice of filmmakers. Many films of big banners have been shot here recently. Now the shooting of the Jersey film is to begin from the end of this month. It is being told that the film will be shot in various locations in Dehradun and Mussoorie till October 10 in the first phase, after which a break of about 15 days will be taken. Further shooting will be done after the break is over. In this film, Shahid Kapoor will be seen as a cricketer, while his father Pankaj Kapoor will play the role of a coach. Shahid is going to shoot the film in Uttarakhand for the third time.

Earlier, Shahid has shot for ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu‘ and ‘Kabir Singh‘ here. Mrinal Thakur has been cast opposite to Shahid in the movie. Mrinal has also come to Uttarakhand for the shoot of ‘Batla House’ earlier. It is being told that Shahid will come to Dehradun a week before the shooting and start the practice of cricket. The film is directed by Gautam Tinnanuri.

Uttarakhand Film Development Council nodal officer KS Chauhan said that all the precautions are being taken during the shooting of the film in terms of corona. This time the number of crew has also been reduced earlier. Everyone on the set has undergone a corona test. Entry will be given on the set only when the report is negative. The set will be sanitized after every shot. For this, the team has reached Dehradun from Delhi. Every member of the crew has also been given immunity boosters.
