Uttarakhand Corona update 27 September: 764 cases found

On Sunday, 764 new cases were reported in the state. Of these, 813 were cured, while eight infected patients died. The maximum number of cases was 241 in Dehradun, 139 in Haridwar, 90 in Pauri and 89 in Udham Singh Nagar. Besides, 50 cases were reported from Nainital  25 each from Tehri, Chamoli and Champawat, 16 from Rudraprayag, 11 from Pithoragarh, 9 in Almora and eight cases from Bageshwar. At the same time, a total of 47045 positive cases have been reported in the state so far, of which 35462 were also healthy. There are 10799 active cases, while 574 corona infected patients admitted to various hospitals have died.

In Uttarakhand, the number of corona infections received daily for the last one week is less than one thousand. While the number of patients recovering is higher than the infected. In the last 24 hours, eight corona patients have died in the state and 764 have been found infected. At the same time, 813 patients have been sent home after recovering.

In the last seven days in the state, there have been fewer cases detected alongwith decrease in testing numbers. According to the statistics of the Health Department, as the number of patients recovering, deaths have also increased.

In the state, 196 days i.e. 28 weeks have passed since the first corona case was found. A total of 84664 samples were examined from September 13 to September 19. In which 9749 infected patients were found and 6942 patients were cured. At the same time, 76 patients died.

But in the 28th week from 20 to 26 September, there has been a decrease in sample testing and infected cases. There have been more cured patients and deaths. In comparison to the previous week, sample investigation 73895, active cases 6196, cured patients 7676 and 88 patients have died.
