Delhi sees highest Corona cases in 41 days

Corona has again gained momentum in the country’s capital Delhi. After 41 days, the record of Corona cases in Delhi is broken. In the last 24 hours, 4853 new cases have been reported. Earlier, on September 16, 4473 cases were reported in Delhi. At the same time, the number of containment zones has reached beyond three thousand.

In the last 24 hours, 24 people have died due to Corona pandemic. So far 6356 people have lost their lives in Delhi from Corona. At the same time, the figure of corona infected is 3,64,341. 3,30,112 people have also recovered from this.

In the last 24 hours, there have been 57210 tests (RTPSR- 14,573 antigens- 42,637). The infection rate in the capital is 8.48 percent, while the recovery rate has been recorded at 91.6 percent. The rate of active patients is 7.65% and the death rate is 1.74%.

Death rate drop

In the last 24 hours, 58 percent cases of deaths from Covid-19 have been seen in five states and union territories. These include Maharashtra, West Bengal, Delhi, Chhattisgarh and Karnataka. However, for the last five weeks the graph of death from Covid-19 has gone down in India. Due to Corona’s grip in India, more than 1 lakh deaths have taken place so far.
