Uttarakhand daily Corona update: 296 cases found on October 12
15 corona infected patients died on Monday. At the same time, 664 infected people have fully recovered, while 296 new cases have been reported on October 12 in the state. The highest number of 108 cases are from Dehradun. Apart from this, 31-each are from Nainital and Champawat, 26 from Haridwar, 23 from Uttarkashi, 19 from Almora, 16 from Udham Singh Nagar, 12 from Pauri Garhwal, 10 from Pithoragarh, 9 from Chamoli, 6 from Rudraprayag,4 from Bageshwar and one from Tehri Garhwal. The number of infected patients has now increased to 55347 in the state. However, 47306 of these have been fully recovered. At present 6976 cases are active, while 762 have died. Apart from this, 303 patients have gone out of the state.
A good thing is also that after the decrease in the last fortnight of September, the pace of testing has also increased again. The number of deaths is definitely increasing concern. Because the death toll is increasing at the same pace. On Sunday also 13 patients, including a doctor, have died. Four patients have died in Himalayan Hospital Jollygrant, three in Sri Mahant Indiresh Hospital, two each in Max and CMI Hospital, one each in Dr. Sushila Tiwari State Hospital in Haldwani and Medicity Hospital in Rudrapur. So far, a total of 747 patients have died in the state. Of which 135 died in the last 11 days. Of these, 88 died in Dehradun district. In this context, every day 12 patients succumbed due to corona in the month of October, of which about 66 percent or eight deaths have occurred in Doon.
