Uttarakhand daily corona update: 505 positives on 21 October

The cases of corona infection in Uttarakhand once again crossed the 500 mark. On Wednesday, 505 new cases have been reported, due to which the number of infected has reached 59 thousand. The highest number of new cases are from 140 from Dehradun. Apart from this, 52 in Udham Singh Nagar, 49 in Nainital, 47 in Pauri Garhwal, 39 in Chamoli, 37 in Haridwar, 30 in Uttarkashi, 26 in Pithoragarh, 25 in Rudraprayag, 24 in Almora, 20 in Tehri Garhwal, 8 each have been reported in Bageshwar and Champawat. At the same time, 770 have been cured, while 14 have died. The number of infected patients has increased to 59106 in the state. However, 52632 of these have recovered. Currently 5085 cases are active, while 960 have died. Apart from this, 429 patients have gone out of the state.

On Tuesday, 13 more infected patients died. Of these, six died in AIIMS Rishikesh, three in Himalayan Hospital Jollygrant, two in Sri Mahant Indiresh Hospital and one patient each in Kailash Hospital and Dr. Sushila Tiwari State Hospital in Haldwani.
