Huge crowds seen in Delhi markets despite surge in Corona cases

Those who went out to shop in Delhi on Thursday had to face difficulties. Long jams were seen in many areas of the capital. Due to the festive season, a large number of people left their homes. Because of this, there was a huge jam on ITO. People were stuck for hours in the jam. Vehicles were seen crawling. According to the information received, apart from ITO, road jam cases were reported in Sadar Bazar, Chandni Chowk, Karol Bagh, Dariya Ganj, CP and South X. Congestion in markets is being cited as the main reason for the jam.

Some people stuck in the jam told that many people parked the car on the streets due to lack of parking space to shop in the market. Due to this, there was a jam. While some people said that they had to wait a long time to park the car in the parking lot.

There is a parking problem in the areas of Old Delhi. Due to Diwali, a large number of people reached the markets to shop. Even after the rising case of Corona, all the major markets in the capital crowded.

Security of markets tightened in view of festival

At the same time, security of all markets of Delhi has been tightened in view of the festival. According to Additional Public Relations Officer ACP Anil Mittal, para military has also been provided to the DCPs of all the districts to protect the key markets. Officers have been instructed to keep constant patrolling in their respective areas. Keep more and more policemen deployed in the markets. Announcement is being made continuously through loudspeakers and people are being told that if someone is seen carrying an unclaimed item somewhere, they should not touch it and give information about the control form number 112 of Delhi Police or any of their familiar police officers and personnel.
