Uttarakhand daily Corona update: 355 new cases found
On Thursday, 355 new corona patients were found in Uttarakhand, while 11 infected people died. With this, the total number of patients is 72997 while the total figure of the dead has been 1196. The department is working on identifying the suspects who have come in contact with the infected to prevent the spread of the infection.
According to the Health Bulletin issued by the Health Department, on Thursday, 14 in Almora, six in Bageshwar, 24 in Chamoli, six in Champawat, 128 in Dehradun, 28 in Haridwar, 24 in Nainital, 39 in Pauri, 51 in Pithoragarh, 3 in Rudraprayag, 9 in Tehri, 18 in US city, while five patients from Uttarkashi have beem confirmed for corona infection.
On Thursday, 317 patients were discharged from various hospitals after recovering. The number of patients recovering from this has increased to 66464. While 4682 patients are being treated in various hospitals. Samples of a total of 13470 patients were sent from across the state for examination. Report of 10 thousand came while 17 thousand sample reports are yet to come. The rate of corona infection in the state is 5.66 percent while the recovery rate of patients is close to 91 percent.
36 percent patients found in Doon
During the last one week, 36 percent of the total mill patients in the state have been found in Dehradun district. The large number of patients in the capital is becoming a matter of concern of the government and health department. Out of 3335 patients received during the last one week in the state, 1214 patients have been found in Dehradun district alone. The second number is from Haridwar district. A total of 352 patients have been found in Haridwar during the whole week whereas a total of 350 patients have been found in Nainital district.
