China removes around 10000 troops from near LAC

The Chinese army has withdrawn 10,000 soldiers from the interior of the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh. Official sources said Monday that China has withdrawn about 10,000 troops from its traditional training areas on the other side in the eastern Ladakh sector. However, on several fronts in the front line areas of LAC, soldiers from both India and China are stationed face to face. Meanwhile, India has returned a Chinese soldier caught on LAC three days ago.

Deployment was increased from April to May

From April last year in East Ladakh, China had increased its troops on LAC. Sensing the aggressive attitude of China, India also deployed a large number of its troops as a precautionary measure. There was a continuing dialogue between the two countries to end the deadlock over the LAC. In the talks, China used to talk about withdrawing its troops but did not follow it. Now once again there has been talk of recalling troops from China.

Sources said that Chinese troops have been withdrawn from the radius of about 200 km along the Indian border. This is probably due to the cold winters and all the difficulties. In view of the harsh winter, China has withdrawn its troops.

Indian soldiers brave extreme weather to protect borders

While China has been forced to remove its soldiers, Indian soldiers are braving the cold weather on the frontier. Even in temperatures below several degrees below zero, Indian soldiers are standing on the border with China in Ladakh.
