Jadeja out of Sydney test due to fractured thumb

Pant also got injured

At the same time, during the batting, Rishabh Pant was struck by a sharp rising delivery from Australian fast bowler Pat Cummins on the left elbow. After which he was also seen in a lot of pain. However, Pant batted again after spray and bandage. At the moment, his injury is not very serious and he will be available for the match.

The BCCI said in a statement, ‘Jadeja has suffered a left thumb injury during the batting. He has been taken for scan. Significantly, the injury of all-rounder Jadeja is a big blow to Team India, because he is also very important in terms of bowling. However, the report will show how serious Jadeja’s injury is.

For India, the process of injuries has not stopped. Before this Test match, Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav and KL Rahul have been ruled out of the series due to injury.
