Uttarakhand daily Corona update: 110 cases found on 22 January
The speed of corona in Uttarakhand is steadily slowing down. On Friday, 110 new cases of corona have been reported across the state, while three patients have died due to infection. According to Health Bulletin released by Health Department, 1 in Bageshwar, 1 in Chamoli, 2 in Champawat, 54 in Dehradun, 13 in Haridwar, 29 in Nainital, 2 in Pithoragarh, 3 in Rudraprayag, 1 in Tehri and 4 cases were reported in Udham Singh Nagar district. It is a matter of relief that not a single Covid-19 patient has been found in Almora, Pauri and Uttarkashi districts.
There is a relief news for the health department in the state that the number of corona infections is steadily decreasing in the new year. The total number of infected with new cases in the state has increased to 95464. However, after defeating the virus, 90730 patients of corona in the state have become healthy. The state corona recovery rate has reached 95 percent. The Health Department is awaiting the report of samples of 13426 suspected patients while the department has sent samples of 12985 suspected patients for investigation today.
The death toll from Coronavirus has increased to 1629. The total number of active cases in the state is 1795.
2308 vaccinated against Coronavirus today
On Friday, 2308 health workers were vaccinated with the corona vaccine. With this, the number of health workers taking the first dose of vaccine has reached ten thousand. The war against the corona is slowly gaining momentum. In the same sequence, vaccination campaign was conducted at 35 places in the state on Friday. In which a total of 2308 health workers were vaccinated. On Friday, Dehradun received the maximum vaccination of 440 health workers, while 241 in US Nagar, 230 in Nainital and 190 in Haridwar were vaccinated.
With this, the total number of vaccinations in the state has reached 10514 by touching five digits till Friday. Here, 110 new cases of corona infection were reported across the state on Friday. While three patients have also died. On Friday, 183 patients have returned to their home after recovering. Total active cases in the state are now 1790. While the total number of dead reached 1629.
