Back to office: CM Rawat gives nod for 100 percent workforce in govt offices

The presence of 100 per cent employees has been made mandatory in all government offices in Uttarakhand. The proposal prepared by the General Administration Department has been approved by Chief Minister Trivendra Rawat. This decision is being taken after the reduction of corona infection in the state. Given the Corona pandemic last year, the regime reduced the presence of officers and staff in all government offices, including the secretariat.

The presence of officers and employees in offices was limited to 75 per cent. But after the transmission has reduced, now it has been approved to make it mandatory for all employees to come to office.

Fall in corona infection

In Uttarakhand, new cases of corona infection are being reported between 50-100 every day for the last one month. In the hilly districts, there has been a significant reduction in infection. At the same time, the government has decided to sanitize instead of shutting the office if corona infection is found in the offices.
