Uttarakhand Board Exams 2021 to be held from May 4 to May 22

The High School and Intermediate examinations of Uttarakhand Board of School Education will start from May 4 till May 22. While announcing the exam date, Education Minister Arvind Pandey said that the board examination result will be announced by July 15. He informed that 1347 centers have been set up for examinations in the state.

In a press conference in a hotel on Saturday, the education minister, while giving information about the board exam schedule, said that from April 3 to 25, there will be intermediate and high school practical examinations. During this time high school internal assessment tests will also be conducted. Board examinations will start from May 4. There will be 21 papers in high school and 40 in intermediate.

High school exams will be held in the morning and inter in evening shifts

The high school examinations will be from 8 am to 11 am and intermediate exams from 2 pm to 5 pm. Answer sheets will be submitted from the sub-compilation center to the main compilation center. Bundles of answer sheets from 13 main collection centers will be sent to 30 evaluation centers.

Evaluation will be done from June 1 to 15

Answer books will be evaluated from June 1 to June 15. The preparation and examination results of the high school and intermediate exam results will be announced from 16 June to 15 July.

The Education Minister informed that a total of 1,48,355 candidates have been registered in the high school. Of these, 1,45,691 are institutional and 2664 individual. Of the 1,22,184 candidates registered at the Intermediate, 1,18,135 are institutional and 4049 are individual.

Safety of children’s lives isĀ  priority

Education Minister Arvind Pandey said that due to Covid-19, education in schools has been affected for 10 months. There was an effort to teach children through online, social media and radio communication.

Following the guidelines of Covid-19, officers have been instructed to conduct classes in schools. Safety of children’s lives is a priority.
