Sachin Tendulkar tests positive for Corona

Former Indian cricket team veteran Sachin Tendulkar has been found corona positive. On Saturday, he issued a message on social media informing him that his corona sample returned positive. The Master Blaster had recently played in the World Road Safety Series and his team became the champion by defeating the Sri Lankan Legends in the final.

Sachin has given information about Corona’s report coming positive on Twitter. He shared a note in which it is written,”I have been testing myself and taking all the recommended precautions to ensure Covid 19 is kept at bay. However I’ve tested positive today following mild symptoms. All others at home have tested negative.”

He further wrote, ‘I have quarantined myself at home and am following all the necessary protocols which have been told to me by the doctors. I would like to thank all the health workers who are supporting me, and all the workers who are helping us in fighting this disease all over the country.’

Former captain Sourav Ganguly was also infected with Corona before Sachin Tendulkar. He defeated Corona, following the guidelines. At the same time, Corona had also infected England fast bowler Tom Curran and spinner all-rounder Moeen Ali before the tour of India.
