Uttarakhand corona update: Daily case count surges to 200
According to the Health Department, on Wednesday, the test report of 11848 samples has come negative. At the same time, maximum 71 have been found in Haridwar, 63 in Dehradun, 22 in Nainital, 14 in Udham Singh Nagar, one in Almora, 8 each in Pauri, Rudraprayag and Tehri and 5 in Pithoragarh. Not a single infected has been found in Bageshwar, Chamoli, Champawat and Uttarkashi. Thus a total of 200 Corona positive cases was found in Uttarakhand in 24 March.
On Wednesday, 49 patients were discharged after recovering. Including these, 94634 patients have become healthy. Active patients are increasing as the number of patients recovering compared to the infected is decreasing. Currently 1115 active patients are under treatment.
Former Chief Minister and National General Secretary of Congress Harish Rawat has also been infected with Corona. On Wednesday, the Corona test report of five members of his family, came back positive. He has given information about this through Twitter.
The former CM said, “I have been found positive on the report of the test and four other members of my family have also been found positive. All the people who have come in contact with me should get their investigation done, because this precaution is necessary.”
