‘Nomadland’ wins Best Picture at Oscars 2021
‘Nomadland’ was crowned the best picture at Oscars 2021. This film has won three awards. Along with Best Film, the award for Best Actress and Director was also received by the Director and Lead Actress of this film. At the same time, Anthony Hopkins has received the award for Best Actor.
Filmmaker Chloe Zhao has created history by winning the Best Director award for his film ‘Nomadland’ at the 93rd Academy Awards. She is the second woman to win the Best Director award at the Oscars. Kathryn Bigelow was the first woman to win an Oscar in 2009 for her film The Hurt Locker.
