Stricter rules at Uttarakhand border; entry only on Corona negative report

After the release of the new SOP of the government, now the strictness has been further increased in Uttarakhand regarding the corona (COVID-19). In Dehradun, surveillance has been intensified at the border in view of increasing cases of corona infection. People coming from 12 states affected most by Corona have been banned from entering without the Corona Negative Report. Among these, vehicles with numbers from UP, Maharashtra, Kerala, Punjab, Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Haryana, Delhi and Rajasthan are being stopped. It is only after seeing the RTPCR report that the police administration is giving admission in the state.

Only those who are bringing negative reports with them are being let go. Those who do not have reports, are being tested on the spot with an antigen kit. They are getting entry only after its report comes negative. Under this, the police have started following the rules strictly on the Asharodi and Kulhal borders of the capital Doon.

Increased inspection on the border

The reports of people coming from outside are being scrutinized, only after that they are being given entry. SSP Yogendra Rawat says that people from 12 states of the country reaching Uttarakhand by railway station, air route and road will get entry in the state only after showing the negative report of Corona from today. In view of this, the police and health department has been set up on every border of the district. Which is randomly checking people coming from other states. Also, the team of Health Department is doing rapid antigen test. The Corona Guidelines issued by the Central and State Government are being implemented in every way. In Dehradun, an operation is being started against people with no mask. Along with this, the SSP has also appealed to the public to follow the rule of masks and social distances to avoid corona infection.

Reports of Travelers coming to these states are being checked

A negative report of Covid-19 of passengers coming from 12 states including UP is being investigated at the check post of the border. In case of non-negative report of Covid-19, entry is being given in the border of the state only after getting tested negative with antigen kit.
