Uttarakhand records 550 corona cases on 4th April

The corona case rise has occurred once again in Uttarakhand. A total of 550 cases have been reported across the state on Sunday. The total number of infected people in the state has now reached 1,02,264. According to Health Department data, 14 in Almora, 8 in Bageshwar, 2 in Chamoli, 8 in Champawat, 221 in Dehradun, 173 in Haridwar, 55 in Nainital, 14 in Pauri, 5 in Pithoragarh, 1 in Rudraprayag, 17 in Tehri, 23 in Udham Singh Nagar and 9 positive cases have been found in Uttarkashi district. It is a matter of concern that two infected persons have also died due to Corona virus.

According to the Health Department, a total of 35118 sample reports have been received from private and government labs. Of which 34568 sample reports have been negative. 221 people have been infected in Doon. There are 173 positive reports reported in Haridwar. Meanwhile, 148 patients have also recovered in different districts. Of these 113 are from Dehradun, 20 from Pithoragarh, 5 from Nainital, 3 each from  Chamoli and Rudraprayag and 2 patients are from Uttarkashi.

So far, 102264 cases of corona have been reported in the state. Out of which 95973 people (93.85 percent) have become healthy. At present, there are 3017 active cases in the state, while 1547 patients have gone out of the state. So far 1727 corona-infected patients have also died in the state.
