Uttarakhand sees highest 1 day spike of 5703 new corona cases

After the plains districts of Uttarakhand, now the mountainous areas have also started seeing the rising graph of deaths due to corona infection. Of the 96 patients that died across the state on Tuesday, 14 patients have died in the mountainous districts. Even though this figure is still low compared to 96 but there is a lot of lack of health services in the mountainous areas, the situation in the mountainous areas could worsened due to increase in patients.

Apart from this, most of the patients died in hospitals in Doon, Haldwani, US Nagar and Haridwar. After the death of 96 patients on Tuesday, the total death toll in the state has so far reached 2309 and the death rate of patients in the state has reached 1.42 percent. During the second wave of corona in the state, more than five hundred patients have died so far in April itself. The government has started taking strict steps regarding the rising graph of Corona in the state. Strict action is being taken against those who leave the house without masks.

5703 new patients found

With the death in the state, every day a new record of getting new infected is also being created. On Tuesday, a record 96 patients died in the state, while a record 5703 new patients were found. With this, the total number of patients in the state has crossed 1,62,000. So far only 1,13,000 patients have been cured. More than 43 thousand samples were sent from various hospitals of the state for examination. A report of 37 thousand came while a report of 29 thousand is yet to come.

43 thousand active patients

The number of active patients in the state is increasing very fast. On Tuesday, 1471 patients were discharged after treatment in the state. But due to the large number of new patients coming, the pressure of hospitals is increasing rather than decreasing. The dreaded state of infection in the state can be gauged from the fact that the number of containment zones in the state has crossed 200.
