India records over 4 lakh cases for 4th consecutive day

The second wave of corona in the country is becoming dangerous. Corona was confirmed among 4,03,626 people in the last 24 hours. This was the fourth consecutive day when more than 4 lakh cases have been reported in India. The rising number of deaths with new infected is also becoming a cause for concern. On Saturday, 4,091 people died due to corona in the country. However, it was a matter of relief that 3,86,207 people beat Corona in the last 24 hours. This is the largest number of people who have recovered in a day.

Total new cases came in last 24 hours: 4.03 lakh
Total deaths in last 24 hours: 4,091
Total recovered in last 24 hours: 3.86 lakhs
Total infected so far: 2.22 crore
Till now recovered: 1.83 Crore
Total deaths so far: 2.42 lakh
Total number of patients currently undergoing treatment: 37.32 Lakh

More than 3 lakh patients recovered on 8th consecutive day

Talking about the patients recovering the recovery rate, more than 3 lakh patients are being cured continuously since May 1 in the country. According to covid19india.org data, 3.08 lakh on 1 May, 3 lakh on 2 May, 3.18 lakh on 3 May, 3.37 lakh on 4 May, 3.30 lakh on 5 May, 3.28 lakh on 6 May, 3.27 lakh on 7 May and On May 8, a record 3.86 lakh patients were recovered.

Restrictions like lockdown in 15 states

There are complete lockdown-like restrictions in 15 states of the country. These include Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala and Mizoram. The same strict restrictions have been imposed here as during the Corona pandemic last year.

Partial lockdown in 16 states / union territories

There is partial lockdown in 16 states and union territories of the country. That is, there are restrictions here, but there are also exemptions. These include Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, Tripura, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Goa, Tamil Nadu and Gujarat.

Lockdown in Tamil Nadu from tomorrow

Because of Corona, the Tamil Nadu government has announced a complete lockdown for two weeks from May 10. There will be complete lockdown in Tamil Nadu from 10 to 24 May. Grocery, ration shops are allowed to open till 12 noon. People coming from other states will have to do e-registration first. There will be a restriction on travel to tourist destinations.
