Rain forecast for 4 districts of Uttarakhand on June 15

The period of rain continues in Uttarakhand. The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert in Uttarakhand from June 14 to June 17. On June 14, the Meteorological Department had predicted heavy rain in Nainital, Pithoragarh and Bageshwar districts. Apart from this, at some places, strong surface winds can move at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. There is also a possibility of heavy rain in Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Pithoragarh, and Nainital districts of Uttarakhand on June 15.

Apart from this, there is a possibility of lightning with thunder at some places. The Meteorological Department says that due to this, there may be reports of landslides and rock fall in sensitive areas. Highways and link roads may be blocked at some places. It has been advised to keep waay from rivulets known for flash floods. Due to this there is a possibility of waterlogging in low-lying areas. The Meteorological Department has advised that people living near rivers or streams need to be careful. Passengers or people coming by vehicle need to be careful while driving.
