New study finds average lifespan of Americans reduced by 2 years

Surprising revelations have been made in a research published in the British Medical Journal. The average age of Americans has dropped by nearly two years between 2018 and 2020. It has been told in the research that the biggest reason for the decrease in age is the corona pandemic. According to the report, the average age of Americans in 2018 was 78.7, or about 79 years. In 2020, it came down to 76.9 years. The author of this study is Steven Woolf of Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. This study is based on data from the National Center for Health Statistics. Woolf said that after World War II, that is, after 82 years, there has been such a big decline in the average age of Americans.
