Uttarakhand corona update: 33 new cases; 28 recover on 24 July

33 new corona infected have been found in the state in the last 24 hours. While no corona patients died. 28 patients have recovered on Saturday. 611 active patients are undergoing treatment. The total number of infected has reached 341673.

No new infected have been found in Almora, Champawat, Pauri, Rudraprayag, Tehri districts as per the health bulletin report on 24 July. 327692 patients have defeated the infection in the state. The recovery rate of the state was recorded at 95.91 percent.

In view of the threat of Covid-19, Railways has implemented travel guideline for passengers reaching Haridwar by trains. In this, passengers will have to bring RTPCR negative report 72 hours before.

No passenger will be able to travel without a report. Passengers will also have to register on the website of Doon Smart City. After the suspension of the Kanwar Yatra, the Railways has taken this step after the meeting of the IG (Crime and Law and Order) inter-state officers held few days back.

Travel guideline applicable for passengers coming to Haridwar by trains

According to Rekha Sharma, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Northern Railway Moradabad Division, after the suggestions of the meeting, the Railways has implemented travel guidelines for the passengers coming to Haridwar by trains. This system will be in force from July 25 to August 6.
